It’s been a tough week for the team here at Radon Raccoon Studios, as they participate in their first ever Game Jam.

The Game Jam run by Crabby Games based in the UK, lasted 5 days and was based on the theme of LUDOPHOBIA, or a fear of games. The team decided to make a Game that was so bad it was terrifying!
The team went to the circus. No clowns, but they did try and make it a scary day out. A slide, with gaps, you had to jump (whilst dodging balls). A crazy maze with a hidden way out. A Dungeon which traps you with no warning and a scary TV at the end.

We had to negotiate with the game coder and designer, to make the jumps easier. He said we had “skill issues”, but he reluctantly changed them. However, they are still devilishly hard!
Twists and turns, but the exit is closer than you think. It’s easy to get lost.
Hint: You just need to go back to where you started.

Who wouldn’t want this guy as a trophy? I wonder what else is there?
There are multiple ways to use these blocks. You can stack them, jump off them, or roll them. One of the team found a way to surf them. That’s right, you can go “block surfing”. How cool is that?

Finally, if you’re lucky you get to this guy. The TV that looks a bit depressed. I wonder what words of wisdom he will tell you? You will have to try and get to the end to find out. Don’t get to excited to hear what he says.
The Community voting is currently underway. Regardless of what happens, the team has learned a lot over the last 5 days. It’s been a wild experience. The creatives are taking a much needed breather before they tackle their next project.
You can follow the community voting here from about 13:00 BST 26 July 2025:
